SYNOPSIS : In the summer of 2021, scientists from the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute set sail for a three-week expedition on the Pacific coast of Panama to study uniquely resilient corals, known as Super Corals, for the Rohr Reef Resilience Project.
A diverse and multinational team of researchers explore the reefs of Panama to uncover some of the secrets which make some of these corals resilient and resistant to the effects of climate change.
As they dive underwater, sample corals, carry-out on-board experiments and cross paths with humpback whales, Among The Corals immerses us in the experience of a marine expedition.
In this human, scientific and technological adventure aiming to uncover the secrets of coral resilience and help protect reefs around the world, we discover the passion that moves these young scientists to ensure that their research remains relevant and a force for positive change.

The Seacrets is an eco-fantastic tale for our times, an independent feature fiction film which incorporates the true story of underwater coral research scientists. The film has a strong environmental gaze as perceived from the rarely observed world of Cuba. Mixing authentic events and circumstances - as a documentary film would do - The Seacrets is also intertwined with the fictional dramatic story of two battered-by-life women seeking a new start. The Seacrets is produced by Az-You-Like Films and Sagax Entertainment and co-produced by Film 13 (Claude Lelouch's production studio). It is narrated by Captain Paul Watson the founder of Sea Shepherd.

Synopsis
AT THE EDGE OF LIGHT (13’ short-documentary) covers the Pax Arctica Coral Reef Expedition of Aug/Sep2018 in Klein Curacao. Produced by Sagax Entertainment and directed by Fabiano D’Amato and James Nikitine this film covers the largely unexplored deep ocean reefs surrounding the uninhabited island of Klein Curaçao which serve as biodiversity hotbeds and could hold the answers to many unanswered scientific questions.
Reef ecosystems around the world are in decline and threatened from global warming leading to mass coral bleaching, ocean acidification, overfishing and other local impacts. Marine scientists from Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Smithsonian’s National Museum for Natural History, and Naturalis Biodiversity Center lead a scientific mission using a state-of-the-art manned submersible, the Curasub, to explore the islands’ uncharted depths of up to 1000ft and collect baseline observations to inform continued research.
AT THE EDGE OF LIGHT provides a better understanding of the lesser studied deep-sea reefs and their unique ecosystems with hundreds and maybe even thousands of species yet to be discovered.
This expedition was organized by Uncharted Blue, a non-profit organization connecting adventure seekers with world-renowned scientists and marine technology to fuel exploration and conservation.

In 2017, as a tribute to these men, an international, multicultural expedition set off on the trail of the Jeannette. The purpose of this mission is to explore, observe, and witness this unknown world of white mounds on the ocean, the sanctuary of an authentic Arctic wildlife.
